Fire-Resistant Panel Systems

Rockwool panels

Mineral Wool/ Stone Wool Core

Rockwool (Mineral wool/ Stone wool) panels are the preferred choice where fire safety is paramount-pharmaceutical GMP zones, fire-rated partitions, and areas requiring Class A fire performance. The inorganic mineral fibre core is non-combustible and does not propagate flame under any conditions.

Rockwool panels also offer superior acoustic insulation compared to PUF, making them ideal for noisy mechanical areas adjacent to sensitive cleanrooms. The non-hygroscopic nature of mineral wool prevents moisture absorption and mould growth.

Stainless Steel (SS) Cleanroom Panels

Full stainless steel cleanroom panels with SS 304 or SS 316L internal and external skins are the highest-specification option, mandated for sterile manufacturing zones, aseptic filling lines, and GMP Grade A/B environments where aggressive chemical disinfection (VHP, peracetic acid) is routine.

The electropolished or #4 brushed finish surface has minimal surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m, preventing microbial adhesion and surviving thousands of disinfection cycles without degradation. All joints are continuously welded and coved for zero particle-shedding surfaces.
